Learning Management Platform

Veative’s learning management platform offers an easy-to-use online classroom and content management system. Teachers, students, parents, and administrators can access several different resources to monitor and track progress through the learning modules. Veative’s data analytics platform offers a variety of tools that support the facilitation of instruction, management of content, and tracking of usage and performance.

Content Management

Create Interactive Lessons

The Veative solution offers a content management system which enables teachers to easily find and integrate content into their existing curriculum scope and sequence. With this feature, teachers can locate Veative content mapped to their curriculum, view modules for lesson planning, create custom playlists, and even import images and standard or 360 videos for integration into their lessons.

Classroom Controls

Monitor and Control the Flow of Information

Offering two different instructional formats, Veative gives teachers the flexibility to allow students to explore on their own, or to stay in control when delivering a VR experience. Student-directed Self Study Mode gives students the opportunity to take ownership of their own learning by exploring modules independently. With Lab Mode, teachers can use the Multicast function to launch Veative modules simultaneously on all devices, and the Monitor feature to oversee each student’s interaction within that module. Teachers can also pause or stop the module at any time during instruction.

Reports & Analytics

Access Formative Assessment Data

Veative is the only virtual reality company offering formative assessment data analytics and usage reports to track student progress toward mastery. The reports and analytics feature includes personalized user profiles for teachers, students, parents, and school administrators, which highlight important progress information and success metrics. With the help of these analytics, teachers can create targeted playlists for students in order to differentiate instruction, and track student growth in content knowledge.

Teacher Dashboard

Teachers Track Performance of Students

The Teacher Dashboard provides access to formative assessment data that can be used to differentiate classroom instruction.

In the Class Report, teachers can view recent usage activity, the most challenging modules for the class, and view student rankings by average assessment score.

The Student Profile feature allows teachers to view individual student data, such as most attempted modules, assessment accuracy, and number of attempts per question. Within this profile, the Content Proficiency section illustrates which modules the student has mastered, is learning, is struggling with, or hasn’t attempted. In addition, every assessment question is tagged with a level of cognitive domain from Bloom’s taxonomy—Remember, Understand, Apply, Analyse, Evaluate, and Create—and the student’s Domain Proficiency is generated from their assessment scores.

In order to assist teachers in identifying common areas of concern, the Module Report displays students’ level of mastery, the most challenging questions, the number of incorrect attempts, and change in performance over time for a particular module.

Student Dashboard

Students Track Their Own Performance

Students can log into their personalized Student Dashboard to track their own performance. The Content Report helps a student determine their progress towards mastery of the content within the module. The Assessment Report, allows students to see the number of questions they have answered to date, including the number of attempts per question. Students can also view their Domain Proficiency, which is generated from their assessment scores and rates them in each of the levels of cognitive domain from Bloom’s taxonomy—Remember, Understand, Apply, Analyze, Evaluate, Create.
