With an ever-growing immersive content library, Veative’s interactive VR modules are designed to engage students and enhance learning outcomes by combining research based instructional practices with virtual reality content.

Each module begins with clearly defined learning objectives, progresses through a concept overview and investigation, and ends with an assessment to measure progress toward mastery of the concepts. The modules are standards based, and designed to improve proficiency and enhance retention by enabling students to interact with and control the flow of information. Veative facilitates discovery through active exploration, and immediate feedback is provided throughout each module to check for understanding, and reinforce, elaborate, and clarify new content. At the end of a module, the assessment provides an opportunity for students to reflect on their learning, while performance is measured through achievements and points.

Curriculum-aligned Content

Veative offers over 400 interactive middle and high school science and mathematics learning modules that engage students in the scientific behaviors needed to investigate the natural world. With Veative’s VR modules, students can carry out investigations to explore how the world works.

Analyzing and interpreting data are practices that form a common theme throughout Veative’s learning modules. With Veative, students use reasoning and scientific principles to interpret graphical data, identify and understand patterns and relationships in data, use data as evidence to support conclusions, and derive meaning from data.

Using mathematics is key to understanding science, and Veative’s mathematics modules challenge students to use math and computational thinking to perform a variety of behaviors such as understanding relationships between variables and making quantitative predictions.

Aligned to national and state standards including Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), Common Core State Standards (CCSS), SAT Content and Skills, ACT College and Career Readiness Standards, Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), and National Career Clusters Framework.
